Head of Analytics & Data Science (Remote)
Join Gillows & Co., a leading residential furniture manufacturer and retailer, to shape the future of our direct-to-consumer, Amazon (FBA), and retail store operations. As our Data Scientist, you'll apply your technical expertise and analytical mindset to optimize our customer experience, product development, and multi-channel sales strategy. You'll work with comprehensive datasets spanning our e-commerce platform, retail locations, and marketplace performance to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Product Leadership: You will use data to guide product development, identify market opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and ensure our furniture offerings meet customer needs across all sales channels. You'll help teams prioritize product launches, set performance targets, and understand market dynamics.
Analytics: You'll lead data-driven decision making across the organization. You'll develop and test hypotheses using various analytical approaches to optimize everything from supply chain efficiency to customer acquisition strategies.
Communication and Influence: You'll transform complex data into compelling narratives that drive action. Your insights will influence product development, marketing strategies, and business investments across our DTC, Amazon, and retail channels.
Responsibilities:
Analyze large datasets to optimize product performance across all sales channels
Apply quantitative analysis and experimentation to improve conversion rates, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
Develop and monitor KPIs across our multi-channel business model
Identify opportunities for product improvement and market expansion
Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams to execute data-driven strategies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or relevant technical field
8+ years experience with analytics and data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python), and statistical software (R)
10+ years experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches, understanding consumer behavior, and leading data-driven projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's or Ph.D. Degree in a quantitative field
Experience in e-commerce or retail analytics
Location: Various locations available Salary Range: $320,000 - $460,000 depending on location
